Bahrain Central Bank approves the transfer of Retail Banking Business from HSBC to BBK
HSBC Bank Middle East, Bahrain branch, has received Central Bank approval to transfer its retail banking business (consumer) to Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait B.S.C. (BBK), one of the largest retail and commercial banks in Bahrain.
The transaction covers the retail loans, deposits, credit cards and accounts of all retail (consumer) customers, and the transfer of the employees supporting HSBC’s retail banking business (consumer) to BBK.
