Locally, the HSBC ATM Card enables you to withdraw cash*, conduct transfers within your own accounts, obtain a mini-statement, make utility bill payments, obtain a cash advance on your Credit Card and deposit cash, cheques and Bank correspondence. Moreover, you will have free access to all National ATMs and Points of Sales (NAPS) ATMs.
Internationally, the HSBC ATM Card enables you to withdraw cash at more than 600,000 ATMs worldwide. You can also use your Credit Card(s) from HSBC to access your Credit Card, Savings or Current account(s) from more than 15,000 HSBC ATMs around the world.
*The daily cash withdrawal limits are: BHD 600 for all customers, BHD 800 for STATUS customers and BHD 1,200 for HSBC Premier customers.

How do I deposit cash or cheques through an ATM from HSBC?Insert your ATM card
Key in your Personal Identity Number and press "Enter"
Select "Other Services"
Select "Other Services" again
Select "Deposits"
Select "Deposit type" (i.e. Cash or Cheque)
Select account to be credited
Key in the amount, check and press "Enter" if correct or "Clear" if incorrect
The machine will dispense an envelope and transaction advice slip
Take the envelope and advice
Put your deposit and advice into envelope
Seal envelope
Press "Enter" to confirm otherwise press "Cancel"
Insert envelope into deposit slot
The amount you have deposited will be credited into your account within 1 working day.
Insert your ATM card
Key in your Personal Identity Number and press "Enter"
Select "Other Services"
Select "Transfers"
Select account to be debited
Select "Other Credit Card Account"
Key in the account number to be credited, check and press "Enter" if correct or "Clear" if incorrect
Key the amount in your account currency, check and press "Enter" if correct or "Clear" if incorrect
The funds are transferred online into your credit card, and customer can use the limit immediately.

Key in your Credit Card Personal Identity Number and press "Enter"
Select "Other Services"
Select "Other Services" again
Select "Deposit"
Select "Deposit type" (Cash or Cheque)
Select account to be credited (If you wish to Credit funds in your Credit Card account Select Credit Card Repayment)
Key in the amount, check and press "Enter" if correct or "Clear" if incorrect
The machine will now dispense an envelope and a printed transaction advice slip
Take the envelop and advice
Put your deposit and advice into envelope
Seal the envelope
Press "Enter" to confirm otherwise press "Cancel"
Insert the envelope into deposit slot
Cash will be credited into the Credit Card account within 1 working day. Cheques will take 2 working days for clearing, and the funds will then be available in the Credit Card.

Select "Change Personal Identity Number"
Key in your new 6 digit Personal Identity Number and press "Enter"
Re-enter your new Personal Identity Number to verify and press "Enter"
You will now receive a printed customer advice confirming that your new PIN has been accepted
